The Andaman and Nicobar Administration are announcing the recruitment for the post of total 380 graduation trained teachers for the different medium and streams. According to the detailed there are total 380 combined with reserved seats are as followed [ UR- 205; OBC- 121; EWS- 38; ST-16], And about 4% of total vacancies are reserved for PwD. The selected candidates will get the handsome salary according to Pay Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 -1,42,400).

There is no age limit for the candidate to appear in exam but they have fulfilled the eligibility like education requirement and age limit of candidates, The maximum age limit for unreserved candidates are 30 years where as the age relaxation are given as per norms/instruction given in notification where maximum age in some cases are allowed up to 40 years.
Successful completion of a four-year integrated program (B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.) in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a reognized University/Institute is required. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject(s) and overall, including elective and language courses in the specified combination, is also acceptable.
A. For GTT (Language) – Proficiency in Hindi/English/Tamil/Bengali/Telugu/Sanskrit as the main language at the Graduation level is essential.
B. For GTT (Mathematics) - A Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics as the main subject and any two of the following subjects: Physics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Statistics.
C. For GTT (Physical Science) - Physics/Chemistry as one of the main subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
D. For GTT (Life Science) - Botany/Zoology as one of the main subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
E. For GTT (Social Science) - History/Geography/Economics/Political Science as one of the main subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
F. For GTT (Home Science) - A Bachelor’s Degree with Home Science as the main subject OR Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks along with a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation-2001, issued from time to time, is also considered eligible for appointment in the relevant subject and medium as stipulated at Point No.1 of the essential qualification. Or Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
2- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized University is also required. OR Completion of a one-year Bachelor of Education (Special Education).
3- Successful clearance of Paper-II of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the appropriate Government/body in accordance with guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
4- Proficiency in Hindi at the 8th standard level is a prerequisite for the candidate.
5- Proficiency in Hindi/English/Bengali/Tamil/Telugu as one of the languages in class X is required, as applicable in the medium concerned. In other words, if applying for a position in a specific medium of instruction, the candidate should have passed the same language in class X.
